Kitsap County Fair & Stampede and its Supporters help raise money and awareness for Breast
Cancer at the Tough Enough to Wear Pink event during Saturday’s Rodeo performance.
This year’s
event honors the Breast & Cervical Health Program provided by Peninsula Community Health Service,
a local non-profit organization dedicated to providing comprehensive health care services to Kitsap
County residents. The Breast & Cervical Health Program provides mammograms, breast exams and
cervical cancer screening for women with limited income, no insurance or limited insurance.
Peninsula Community Health Services (PCHS) is a community based
nonprofit organization dedicated to providing comprehensive health care services to residents of Kitsap County.
They offer quality low-cost care for children and adults. Their services include primary medical care, dental care, mental health counseling, pharmacy services, and health education and promotion activities. Compassionate professionals including physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, counselors, dentists, and dental and medical assistants provide all care services at three health centers.
